End of a Big Year

Another year has come and gone, and all that other mushy stuff you say around this time. So once again, here's a small recap of my year!

2014 IS ALMOST OVER, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
Stayed single almost the whole year? Big news! I can actually say no to this! It was only half a year, kind of... 
Were involved in something you'll never forget? Just being involved in a relationship is unforgettable.
Tripped over a coffee table? I'm sure I did
Came close to losing your life? Nope, not yet!
Saw one of your favorite bands/artists live? Nope
Did something you regret? Nothing I can remember
2014: Friends and Enemies
Did you meet any new friends this year? I like to think so
Did you hate anyone? Nah, everyone is pretty cool with me
Did you lose any friends? I've started drifting away from some people, unfortunately.
2014: Your BIRTHDAY!
Did you have a cake? I can't actually remember...
Did you get any presents? Some very nice ones
Did you get what you wished for last year? I never really asked for much. But what I did, I got.
2014: All about YOU
Did you change at all this year? I've definitely come out of my shell and became more affectionate
Did you change your style? Not that I can tell. Though I don't wear makeup or jewelry very often anymore.
Were you in school? Yup, and still going to school.
Did you get good grades? Decent grades.
Did you drive? Yup, and I still have my L. I don't like driving...
Did you own a car? Nope. I think I need my N for that...
Did anyone close to you give birth? My cousin's wife gave birth fairly recently.
Did you go on any vacations? Nope, work got in the way.
Would you change anything about yourself now? I really need to learn to stand up to people... Especially at work.
Did you dye your hair? I dyed it once very early this year, then cut nearly all of it off.

Told someone you were busy when you weren't? I think I was pretty good about not doing that
Cooked a disastrous meal? I set the fire alarm off while making soup...
Lied about how old you were? Nope, never needed to.
Cried yourself to sleep? Nope

Disappointed someone close? I would hope not

Pretended to be happy? All those days at work when it's super busy and there's no one to help me...
Slept under the stars? Like... camping? Nope
Met someone who changed your life? Most definitely
Changed your outlook on life? Maybe a bit. I've always been positive, and that hasn't changed
Sat home all day doing nothing? Yup...
Lost something expensive? I've been fairly good about not losing stuff this year
Learned something new about yourself? I might have actually been good at the manager position that was offered to me...
Tried something you normally wouldn't try and liked it? I experimented with a few new foods... Nothing too radical though. Still staying away from seafood.
Made a change in your life? I finally accepted that I am capable of affection
Found out who your true friends were? I've always known.
Met great people? Of course! I like to think my group of friends has grown. I can count them on two hands now!
Stayed up til sunrise? I might be a little too old for that now...
Cried over the silliest thing? I've cried from laughter over a silly thing.
Had friends who were drifting away from you? It's sad to say, but yes.
Spent most of your money on food? That pretty much sums up my whole year...
Gotten sick? Ugh, yes. January 1st, I got the flu. First week of February, I got the flu again
Liked more than 5 people at the same time? Like as a crush or like as a friend? Nay to the former and Yay to the latter.
Became closer with a lot of people? I like to think so.

It's the last day of 2013! And I'm already in my pyjamas... But hey, let's still celebrate by summing some things up. I did this last year too, but things change.

Saw one of your favorite bands/artists live? I saw my favourite author...
Did something you regret? Nothing big, maybe a few tiny things that I've already forgotten.

Did you meet any new friends this year? I met a few new people at college and work.
Did you hate anyone? I would rather keep them nameless... 
Did you lose any friends? I think I've drifted away from some friends...

Did you have a cake? Of course. And it was ice cream.

Did you get what you wished for last year? A few things, yes, and a few surprises.

Did you change at all this year? I'm sure I did. I feel like I've become more responsible.
Did you change your style? Not really. Other than wearing my work uniform for the majority of the week...
Were you in school? Not as much as I had expected. I wasn't too organized in that way...
Did you get good grades? I got a B+ in my last class, and some pretty decent grades in my spring classes from earlier this year.
Did you drive? Yes, and I'm getting better. I started on a hill yesterday... After having my L for nearly two years...
Did you own a car? I don't think I'll own a car for a long time.
Did anyone close to you give birth? My co-worker did, and her baby is adorable!
Did you go on any vacations? Disneyland!
Would you change anything about yourself now? I would like myself to be a little more organized...
Did you dye your hair? Surprisingly, no. I normally dye it at least once a year.

Hid a secret? My Co-worker's girlfriend bought him concert tickets for Christmas and asked me to give him the day off work, but keep it secret. That's the only one I can think of.
Pretended to be happy? Maybe a few times when I've been very stressed at work.
Slept under the stars? That sounds cold...
Met someone who changed your life? Not that I can think of.
Changed your outlook on life? Hmm, maybe a bit, can't say what it's been changed to.
Sat home all day doing nothing? ...Okay, yeah.
Lost something expensive? One of my rings is on the verge of breaking, but it's not lost...
Learned something new about yourself? I'm capable of taking on challenges and responsibilities
Tried something you normally wouldn't try and liked it? There are a few alcoholic drink that are pretty good.
Made a change in your life? I got a new job that pays well and gives me a lot of hours, and I got accepted into two universities.
Found out who your true friends were? I've always known.
Met great people? At college and work.
Stayed up til sunrise? I've been awake before sunrise...
Cried over the silliest thing? Not really, at least nothing I can think of.
Had friends who were drifting away from you? It's sad to say, but yes.

((Oh man, I completely forgot about the blog on Friday. I haven't been feeling well today, so I'm just going to do another list. I know it's tacky, but I figure with New Years coming, I'll do a summary of my year.))

Were involved in something you'll never forget? If I have, I've already forgotten...
Tripped over a coffee table? Not that I can remember, but I wouldn't be surprised if I did.
Came close to losing your life? A lady nearly ran me over, but she was at a stop and wasn't paying attention when she started to go, so I don't think my life was in much danger...
Saw one of your favorite bands/artists live? Nah, I would rather see some of my favourite authors live... Which I did last year and will do again next year.
Did something you regret? Not that I can recall...

Did you meet any new friends this year? I made a few friends at college, but I wouldn't call them close friends.
Did you hate anyone? Nah, I'm a pretty easy going person; I don't hate people often.
Did you lose any friends? I may have drifted away from a few, which is sad, but it happens.

Did you change your style? I started growing my hair longer... Other than that, I think my style is pretty much the same.
Were you in school? Of course, except during the summer, when I was working.
Did you get good grades? I got more B's than A's, but not too bad.
Did you drive? Yes... Badly... And not very often. But I did get my L early this year.
Did you own a car? I can barely drive a car...
Did anyone close to you give birth? Not that I can think of.
Did you go on any vacations? A few small things, but other than that, nothing big.
Would you change anything about yourself now? I'm pretty happy with what I have.

Was 2012 a good year? Yeah, nothing too special, but I figure every year has been a good year.
Do you think 2013 will top 2012? Hard to say. I'll be changing universities, hopefully getting a second job, and it doesn't look like my grandma will last much longer after the New Year. However, I think the good will outweigh the bad.
Best thing that happened in 2012? Hmm, that's a hard one. I turned 19, so that was pretty cool. I'm allowed to legally drink, but I don't do it often, and never enough to get drunk.

Learned something new about yourself? I'm not as bad at Astronomy as I thought...
Tried something you normally wouldn't try and liked it? French Onion Soup was pretty good. And alcohol wasn't as bad as it smells...
Made a change in your life? I applied to a new university. Whether I get accepted will deem if I actually made the change though.
Found out who your true friends were? I've always known.
Met great people? Of course. There are plenty of great people I've met at college.
Stayed up til sunrise? Surprisingly, no. I've been pretty good about going to bed at a decent time.
Cried over the silliest thing? I had a bit of a melt down during my first week of school, when my parents left me home alone with a crazy dog who kept me up until two in the morning on a school night...
Had friends who were drifting away from you? Unfortunately, yes.
Spent most of your money on food? Hehe, yeah... Although I think Christmas shopping balanced it out.
Gotten sick? I was sick twice within about 30 days...
